Visa Sponsorship Opportunity
For the right candidate, visa sponsorship may be offered following a successful qualifying period. As Jindabyne is a regional area, this provides excellent long-term sponsorship opportunities in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook high-quality bistro meals in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain portion control and presentation standards
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP requirements
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house teams
• Assist with stock rotation, waste minimisation, and inventory management
Requirements
• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent international qualification)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a busy commercial kitchen
• Strong knife skills and grill/meat cookery experience
• Ability to work under pressure during peak service periods
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
• Ability to meet the Australian Department of Home Affairs requirements for a sponsorship visa (including English language proficiency and a clean background check) following the qualifying period.
