And…Wildflowers Are Go!
Did the big loop today from Kalbarri to Northampton, out to Binnu and back via Ajana-Kalbarri Road.
The wildflowers were beautiful, canola fields were in flower and loved seeing the red tail black cockatoos photo bomb the landscape.

🐳Whale Rainbows 🌈
Can’t get a better Saturday than that!
We headed out on the Kalbarri Rock Lobster Tours & Charters Kalbarri Whale Watching Tour and were in awe of the magnificent group of humpbacks we encountered on their migration. At one point we heard their communication and one even popped its head up to check us out! (spy hopping). A thoroughly fantastic experience.
Tours depart twice daily to the 30th September.

Wow 🤩 so many entries in our first colouring- in competition for the school holidays.

Kalbarri has just been named WA's Top Tiny Tourism Town for three years in a row and has entered the Hall of Fame!
Congratulations and thanks to the Kalbarri Visitor Centre for achieving this for the town, it is certainly no mean feat!
Thanks also to all of our fellow tourism operators, local businesses, shire, volunteers and residents who make Kalbarri great everyday.

Kalbarri has officially been named WA’s Top Tiny Tourism Town for 2026, taking out the title for the third consecutive year and securing a place in the 7NEWS Top Tourism Town Awards Hall of Fame.

This recognition belongs to an entire community, our tourism operators, local businesses, volunteers, residents and everyone who helps make Kalbarri such a special place to visit.

To everyone who voted, supported and continues to champion our town, we thank you.

From dramatic coastlines and ancient gorges to warm welcomes and unforgettable experiences, Kalbarri continues to prove that tiny towns can make a big impact.

🏉Footy is back in Kalbarri 🏉
This Saturday, 30th May at the Kalbarri Football Oval opposite us on Porter Street.
See you there...and if you're coming for the game, why not stay a little longer.
