Locally owned and operated fishing charters at some of the best fishing spots in the Kimberley - practically GUARANTEED to catch a fish!! $290 for adults, $215 for kids under 15's, and family rates at $895 (2 adults and 2 kids). DISCOUNTED FOR HMB CAMPERS! 5 seats available per charter, 2 charters a day, bookings taken upon arrival. No need to pre-book! Once checked in, you can go find a spot that

suits your needs. We do take pre-bookings for the Beach Shack, Bob'n'Barrys Shack, and Gang Shack. We have grassy, beachfront, and ocean-view camping areas for nightly fees of just $20 for adults, $10 for teens, and under 12's stay FREE! Stay 6 nights, get the seventh ON US! Day visits $10/vehicle and will be credited if you change your mind and want to stay the night. Kiosk, public telephone with free wifi, flushing toilets, and hot showers! All vehicles welcome. Airport pick-ups from Kalumburu Community available during wet season. Bring your pets: our kids love 'em!

EDIT: Fuel truck came!
- Mission open for fuel Wednesday's & Saturday's 8am-10am only.
- Diesel: $3.50/L
- ULP: $3.75/L
- Pay at Uraro Store in $1 increments then take receipt to Mission bowser. No refunds if you over purchase so double check your math 😉

⛽Fuel is running low at Kalumburu Mission so they are only opening on Saturdays from 8am-10am until the resupply truck comes at the end of May.
If the road opens before then please make sure you have enough fuel to get from Drysdale Station to us AND BACK because there is nowhere else up here to get.

Main Roads has announced the dates for reopening the Gibb River Road in stages.

Starting from Monday May 6th 2024, the section from Mt Barnett to the Kalumburu Road turnoff will be reopened, to high clearance 4WD vehicles and heavy vehicles under 15 tonnes. Reopening may be dependent on water levels at the Barnett River crossing, currently 800mm deep.

Then on Sunday May 12th the section from the Kalumburu Road turnoff to Pentecost River will also be opened, again for high clearance 4WD vehicles and heavy vehicles weighing up to 15 tonnes.

The road has already reopened from Lennard River to Mt Barnett.
