It’s the end of the day, and I’m sitting in our orchard at The Little Regenerative Farm. As I sip my wine and listen to the song of the birds 🐦, I realise I’m finally starting to heal.
Tomorrow marks one year since the accident in the garden that changed me forever. One year since I truly understood that family is chosen, not just blood. That I really am with the love of my life. That I am as strong as I thought—just with a lot more to learn about giving myself grace and time to grieve.
I still have the gorgeous old property you all know.
But now, Finch and Willow will become more than a place — it’s a philosophy, a way of being:
🌿 Neurospicy AF
🌸 Regenerative Farming & Gardening
🌻 Permaculture & Organics
🌼 Flowers, Crafts, Menopause, and Positivity — everything that makes me me.
It doesn’t stand for meanness, consumerism, selfishness, plastics, poisons, hectic lifestyles… or negativity.
I don’t have the time or spare energy for that s**t anymore. 💁♀️
Finch and Willow will often share little “postcards” — messages I film for my gorgeous friend Sharron, who can no longer speak freely after a stroke. It’ll vibe with the stories of Mike and me, our adventures on both the farm and at Windy Hollow Homestead, all wrapped up in a menopausal ADHD bow. 🎀
Thank you to those who kept in touch… and to those I’ve yet to befriend — I’m so glad you’re here.
Lots of love,
Déa 🌸
