In warmer weather, the local swimming pool is a short stroll along the main street (even shorter through the back paddock) and Bendeela Reserve on the Kangaroo River is also a great swimming option. If you’re looking to get out and about, you can hire a kayak and paddle down the Kangaroo River, enjoy one of the many bushwalks in the area, visit a local winery or even pop over to Shoalhaven or Culburra surf beaches or the relatively calm waters of Jervis Bay.
