Thanks to the lovely folk at I Grew Up in Mortdale 2223 for remembering our birthday.

4 March 1961, NSW Governor Sir Eric Woodward was on hand for the opening ceremony of the old Katoomba Youth Hostel 3 Wellington Road, Katoomba (near Catalina Park). Today the building is now Trinity Cottage, a holiday house used by many folk for the various Katoomba conventions and summer schools.

We are excited to announce that we will be officially open to the public on Saturday 27 May!

We will be open every second weekend, with three trips to choose from on Saturdays and again on Sundays.

Tickets are now on sale for our running days until the end of 2023.

🙏🏼We cannot thank all of our supporters, funding bodies and volunteers enough for their dedication in bringing the railway back to carry passengers once again.
