Aldi, Coles, BigW, Woolworths, etc) or enjoy a great coffee in one of the many funky cafes of the village. Our multilingual staff at the reception can provide you with great advice about where to go and how to plan your visit to the Blue Mountains. We know all the most popular bushwalks and can assist the adventurous ones with planning your outdoor activities within the vast national parks that are right on our doorstep. Rooms
You can choose to be in a dorm –international travellers only- or book a private room if you would prefer some privacy. We have rooms to suit all budgets from shared dormitory rooms to quaint non-ensuite double, twin and triple rooms. Our dorms and private rooms are simple, warm and meticulously clean. They all undergo regular maintenance & cleaning to guarantee the highest standards of hygiene and comfort. Facilities
Katoomba Mountain Lodge has been recently renovated to provide comfort and a cosy atmosphere. We have free wi-fi, an updated tourist information board with current events and stuff happening in town, a jobs board, two warm lounge rooms with a wide selection of DVDs and TV channels, great hot showers, a tranquil & relaxing reading room and a sunny terrace with two spacious outdoor decks. Our kitchen is fully equipped to prepare your meals and we also provide free coffee and tea. There is a vegetable bed in our garden where our guests can pick fresh herbs for their dishes and we also have interesting cook books in our kitchen if you are looking for inspiration or wanting to get creative.
