Guests are encouraged to utilize the walking tracks throughout property and explore the creeks and natural bushland within the 200 acre boundary of Yabbaloumba Retreat. Hi 👋, Have you met Bea yet? Some of our clients may of had some meetings with her over the phone or onsite. She is our behind the scenes wedding planner and lead stylist, ready to make your experience package come to life. Bea joined us last August and this year you’ll be seeing her a lot more at event set ups, on the day and even doing some tours. Bea joined us with a career in marketing and interior design and we love her wide range of skills she brings to our team. ♥️

Did you know our team has all the logistics of your day covered!? We stock fridges with your byo drinks, provide the ice, transport drinks to ceremony and reception, has a coordinator included for questions on the day, we set out the ceremony chairs and work in with the MC to help your day run smoothly. We try and fill the gaps on the day where help is needed so your loved ones aren’t running around solving problems! a guest needs assistance getting across to the island? 🏝️ grandma needs a cup of tea? 🫖 Your bridesmaid has a stain on her dress 🧚 ? We are here to help!

Have you seen our island ceremony location ? We have tours available across end of Dec and January. 🔗 link to book tours and download brochure in our bio. As we host a lot of events and guests in our cabins over the holidays we are unable to host spontaneous viewings. Please make sure you book tours online before visiting us over summer. Our Story

Lose yourself in nature at the Sunshine Coast hinterland's premier luxury retreat & wedding destination.

Yabbaloumba Retreat is a 200-acre working farm with livestock, a fully stocked lake and abundant bird life. Our cattle and feathered friends (guinea fowl & geese) freely roam throughout the property, and don’t mind posing for a photo!

Yabbaloumba Retreat is nestled between two spring fed creeks and it bears the name of these: Little Yabba and Booloumba. We have exclusive, intimate swimming holes for guest use and extensive walking trails for you to connect to nature.

Yabbaloumba’s authentic country settings comprises flat and undulating grazing paddocks, bushland, running creeks and a fish-stocked lake. Our orchard and olive grove provide year-round bounties. We grow avocados and olives and our fruit trees produce delicious preserves and chutney.

Our picturesque pastoral setting is both romantic and authentically country. We offer contemporary luxury cabins with commanding views over the lake and pastures – perfect for a weekend away or special occasion. We are delighted to be a favoured location for gorgeous country weddings, and open our grounds for exclusive use to wedding parties and corporate retreats.

‘The Shed’ is our romantically rustic lakeside venue – the perfect setting for a wedding reception or special retreat. The Shed is fully equipped with large reception hall and commercial kitchen. There is an amenities block and 18-person bunkhouse, in addition to the four luxury couples-only cabins perched on our hillside.

Nestled amongst the Conondale Ranges in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, Yabbaloumba Retreat is situated in the beautiful Mary Valley, a scenic 90 minute drive North of Brisbane. Each of the luxuriously appointed cottages have water views of the dam which is fully stocked with Australian Bass.

Yabbaloumba Retreat is the gateway to one of the most dramatic terrains in Queensland which boasts the Conondale Range Great Walks. Bordering the Conondale National Park and the Imbil State Forest, guests will wake to the sight of majestic deer shrouded in rising morning mist while enjoying breakfast on the deck to a chorus of kookaburras.
