Kiah Wilderness Tours

Today we pretended we were still running Kiah Wilderness Tours. Some of our oldest friends were visiting for the first time. They'd always wanted to take our tour.

We set off with no expectations but wow! We were inundated with birdlife: several Azure Kingfisher encounters, a lovely Whistling Kite, Pelicans, a young Wedge-tailed Eagle protecting a fish that was dropped by a juvenile White-breasted Sea Eagle.

And then the incredible sight of 5 Sea Eagles all circling around the We**ie on the beach.

What a wonderful way to end a memorable weekend with some of our closest friends ❤️.

This place ❤️. Perfect downsize for a farming family wanting a bit more down time.

Always green so you can run a few head, have a horse, grow great veges or just enjoy fishing or relaxing on the river which is right on the doorstep. Comfy 3 bed, 2 bath home with huge verandahs.

10 minutes from Eden on tar and 2 mins to the local store. Message us if interested.

Fighting the crowds on our local beach ⛱️ 😅.

Was a tad chilly ❄️ on our morning walk but we love this beach at low tide. We needed the full kit today 🧤🧣🧥 but the pup 🐶 didn't notice it Waa cold 🤷‍♀️😅.

Back on the water!! Perfect weather forecast led to an impromptu decision to ✔️

So we did 🤷‍♀️😅.

Still a lot of fresh coming downriver, coupled with an outgoing tide so it was hard 🤦‍♀️! But the return trip was a dream 🤗. Sunshine, no wind.....ok so I still love ❤️ this river.
