A beautiful way to end the day, the soft glow of a sunset and the chorus of birds settling in for the night :-) Living in a valley means that our park is still looking pretty green atm compared to the surrounding countryside, truly a little oasis in the SE QLD bush :-)

I spy ... a lucky guest who has the whole of Possum Parade to themselves tonight :-)
We are lucky to still have some nice green grass on most of our sites and Spring is certainly starting to be felt ... gorgeous warm days, spectacular night skies and birds in full chorus each morning 🥰
This Friday is a pupil free day so why not make it a longweekend, grab some friends and head on out to our 'bubble in the bush' 🤩
Plus the Bush Bar is open on Saturday night featuring our delicious woodfired pizzas !!!

🌿 WHAT A LOVELY WEEKEND! 🌿

A huge thank you to everyone who stayed with us this weekend and to all those who came along and supported our Woodfired Pizza Night at the Bush Bar. 🍕🔥

We met so many genuinely lovely people and families, and it was wonderful to look around the park and see everyone simply slowing down, relaxing and enjoying themselves. ❤️

There’s something pretty special about this time of year at Kilkivan. The mornings start with the sound of the birds 🐦, the afternoons are perfect for a sneaky siesta 😴, and as the temperature drops in the evening, there’s nothing much better than cozying up around a campfire. 🔥

And judging by the smiles at the Bush Bar last night, a woodfired pizza and a cold drink don’t hurt either! 😄🍕🍻

Thank you for choosing to spend your weekend with us and for supporting our little family-run park. It really does mean a lot. 💚

We hope everyone went home feeling rested, relaxed and recharged — and we hope to see you back again soon.

We’re turning to our amazing camping community for some help! 💛

We’ve been keeping an eye on Marketplace, but unfortunately it seems to be crickets whenever we enquire about anything 😂🦗 … so we thought we’d put the word out directly!

We’re looking for a good-quality pool table in good condition for a fun new space we’re creating for our guests to enjoy at Kilkivan Bush Camping & Caravan Park.

If you have one sitting around that’s not getting the use it deserves — or you know someone who might — we’d love to hear from you!

🎱 Complete and ready to play
🎱 Happy to travel a reasonable distance for the right one

🌿 VOLUNTEERS WANTED – SWAP A LITTLE WORK FOR A CAMPING GETAWAY! 🌿

Spring is nearly here, which means everything at Kilkivan Bush Camping is starting to grow… including the weeds! 😂🌱

We’re looking for a few friendly volunteers who’d like to lend a hand with weeding, mulching and general garden tidy-ups around the park.

🏕️ The deal is simple:
Give us a few hours of help each day and, in return, enjoy a FREE powered campsite during your stay.

There’s still plenty of time to relax, explore the area, sit around the campfire and enjoy the peaceful bush surrounds. 🔥🌳

This could be perfect for grey nomads, travelling couples or anyone who enjoys gardening and doesn’t mind getting their hands a little dirty!
