🌊 LAKE EPPALOCK IS LOOKING FANTASTIC! ☀️

After a winter of rain (wasn’t expected this year)and plenty of water flowing into the lake, Lake Eppalock is now looking nearly full — and what a sight it is! 💦🙌

The water is right up around the trees and the lake is looking absolutely beautiful. With summer just around the corner, it’s shaping up to be a cracker of a season on the lake! 🚤🎣🏄‍♀️

Bring on the warm weather, boats, fishing, camping, swimming and plenty of good times at Lake Eppalock! ☀️🍻

🌧️ WHAT A DIFFERENCE 45mm MAKES! 🌧️

After receiving around 45mm of rain overnight, the Coliban River is absolutely bursting its banks, with water rushing through the waterways.Turpin Falls is raging and really putting on an incredible show💦

All that water is now making its way towards Lake Eppalock, bringing a much-needed boost to the catchment. 🌊

It’s amazing to see the power of the water after such a good soaking.

It can stop raining now🙏🌧️💙

What a beautiful day yesterday. Now the rains are here!! The Lake is currently 66.06% & there looks to be some decent rain today & tomorrow. What do you think the Lake level will be by Wednesday morning?

Only 4 sleeps to we reopen!! The Lake is looking fantastic sitting at 64.87% coming up just over 30% in the last few weeks. Last week we counted 42 pelicans in one pod so they are definitely enjoying more water in the Lake. Our boat ramp is back in the water. Look forward to seeing you all soon..

If you'd like to build confidence reversing, launching and retrieving your boat, register for one of Better Boating Victoria’s FREE Boat Trailer Reversing Clinics this August.

Clinics are available to all boaters at:

📍Lake Eppalock, Sunday 9 August, 9.30am-4.30pm
📍Altona, Saturday 22 August, 9.30am-4.30pm

The day includes both all-gender and women-only sessions. Sessions run for 45 minutes and will occur at multiple times throughout the day.

The 45-minute sessions include:
✅ Boat trailer reversing practice with a boat and/or a jetski
✅ Launching and retrieval tips
✅ A chance to get your questions answered by the experts at Victorian Boat Training
