A wonderful night on Friday, where VWBro Olsson PAGDD was presented with his 60yr membership jewel (the second of two within a 12mo period!), with that task being delegated to his son, WorBro Olsson PG Std Br.
And on the other end of the spectrum we were able to initiate a new brother into the Craft, and read out petition for another candidate.

At South Burnett, we love to welcome such well dressed visitors, no matter the species. Our distinguished guest (Brother Solomeow) appeared out of the blue and was very eager to attend the first meeting of our term and hear the wonderful presentation on the topic of the Order of the Secret Monitor. He was, however, asked to retire from the festive board as his table manners left something to be desired. But he did at least honour the regular toasts out of a saucer.

Saturday the 13th proudly saw the installation of Bro Gillespie by the Deputy Grand Master and his cadre of grand officers. The day was remarkable for having the lodge room fit to burst with so many members and visitors there for the occasion.
