🥜🏁 MASCOTS… ROY WANTS A REMATCH! 🏁🥜
After the absolute success — and complete chaos — of last year’s Kings Royal Mascot Race, we’re doing it all again in 2027!
The Mascot Race will return on the second night of the Kings Royal, and Roy has apparently spent the entire off-season telling anyone who’ll listen that he was “robbed” last year. 😆
We’ve watched the footage.
We’re still not entirely sure what he thinks happened.
Either way, Roy wants another crack at it, so this is the early warning to official mascots everywhere — sporting clubs, businesses, schools and community groups — start stretching, start training and maybe work on that cardio. 😂
Last year proved one thing… put a heap of mascots together, add a finish line and suddenly everyone gets VERY competitive.
🥜 Roy says he’s faster this year.
🏁 Roy says last year’s result shouldn’t count.
😂 Roy has also requested a stewards enquiry nearly 12 months late.
We want another BIG field of official mascots ready to take him on in front of the Kingaroy crowd!
