Step back in time at Heritage Day in Murgon!
Bring the family, catch up with friends and enjoy a wonderful day of heritage, history and community at the Qld Dairy & Heritage Museum.

Off Gayndah Road, opposite the Saleyards
● Saturday, 3rd October 2026
● 9.30am to 2.30pm
Lots to see and enjoy, including heritage trade displays and demonstrations such as rope making, leather crafts, spinning, weaving with natural fibres, lace making and blacksmithing.

The Museum buildings and displays will also be open, so it’s a great chance to wander through, take in the history and enjoy a proper step back in time.

You’ll also find draught horses, horse and cart rides, antique machinery, classic cars, a Murgon Men’s Shed display, free jumping castle and free face painting for children.
Food and refreshments will be available, including barbecue, morning and afternoon tea, and damper.

Pack up the family and enjoy a beautiful day celebrating heritage, history and community in Murgon
