So honoured to host the incredible The Man Cave ❤️ Love you guys!!!!

Our whole organisation came together on our annual Retreat last week ❤️

It was an opportunity to slow down after what has been a huge six months of growth and change in the Cave, unplug and connect, share, play and laugh.

Special shout-out to our facilitators, who took part in a three-day rite of passage prior to this.

In our programs, we see hundreds of boys face challenges and display courage, authenticity, vulnerability, strength and compassion every single week. So, as the facilitators of these programs, we need to ensure that we’re doing the same.

Once a rite of passage for kids, but camps are on the chopping block for many schools in Victoria due to changes to the education enterprise agreement, which mean attending teachers must be given time in lieu for extra hours worked.

School camps are shown to be beneficial for kids' anxiety, team building and emotional development.

It's the government's responsibility as the employer to make sure [schools] are appropriately funded.

This needs to be fixed!

Once a rite of passage, overnight excursions for students are becoming increasingly rare.
