🌀 Cyclone Alfred. Looks like we could be in for a bumpy ride this week.

🌀Cyclone ADVICE- Category 1 TC Alfred
⏰ Monday 11 am : The BOM says category 1 TC Alfred is expected to intensify to category 2 before approaching the SEQ coast late Thursday.
📍Watch Zone : Sandy Cape to Grafton including Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Byron Bay but not including Grafton
⚬ Heavy rainfall is forecast from Wednesday as Alfred approaches the coast. Heavy to intense rain possible south of the system.
⚬ From Wednesday Gales with gust to 120 km/h expected along the SEQ and NE New South Wales coast between Tewantin and Grafton. Gales may extend north to Sandy Cape from late Wednesday onwards.
A flood watch is current. The BOM says the Pine and Caboolture Rivers, Upper Brisbane River, Lower Brisbane River and Logan and Albert River catchments may be impacted.
