Today marks the beginning of a new chapter.
More than a century ago, this property welcomed travellers under the Ellson name. Over the decades, it evolved and became known to many as the Seaview Motel. Today, we're proud to bring the story full circle as we introduce The Ellson Hotel.
When we closed our doors in April last year, it wasn't simply for a renovation. It was the beginning of a vision, to honour its heritage while reimagining this iconic property for a new generation of travellers.
The past 15 months have been filled with dust, delays, big decisions, and an incredible amount of hard work. It hasn't always been easy, but every challenge has brought us closer to today.
While we're still a little while away from opening our doors, we're excited to share that our brand-new website is now live, bookings are officially open, and our team is growing as we prepare to welcome you this December.
To everyone who has supported us, believed in us, and patiently followed our journey—thank you. We couldn't have done it without you.
This is more than a new name. It's a return to the roots, and the beginning of an exciting new era.
