We always say how lucky we are to have pink salt lakes scattered throughout Western Australia, but now we can add fluro to the list! 🤩 Captured in the Wheatbelt town of Kondinin, this lake has been changing colour a lot recently, with this bright yellow hue coming from the algae that only occurs at this time of the year! At other times of the year it can be pink or even an icy blue.

Well, everyone needs some education👨🏿‍🏫

If your interested in joining Kondinin VFES and supporting our community through our fire and rescue services, come along to training from 6pm Wednesday 3rd April for a look at our unit, trucks and meet the crew 👨‍🚒 🚒 Last chance before training begins for the year in our district. If you’d like more information please don’t hesitate to contact our unit Captain Roger Northey on 0447 699 909, or catch up with one of our many volunteers in the community. There are many parts to a Volunteer Fire & Emergency Services unit, so dont hold back if fire or road crash rescue isn’t your thing, there is always plenty of other roles we need help in, and be able provide this essential service to our wonderful community we live in.😆👌
