This year makes 50 years since the first Senior Interclub Race was held in Smiggins. To commemorate this occasion, the organising committee is looking for pictures from each club to add into the slide show presentation.

If you have any pictures of yourself or family members participating in races over the pas 50 years, receiving prizes or cheering on fellow club members can you please send them to Alyssa our Club Captain at [email protected] by 1st July

Please remember if you are sending pictures of children currently under the age of 18, ensure that you have consent of their parents before sharing these pictures.

Perisher may have opened this weekend, but the best is yet to come! ❄️⛷️

From Saturday 13th June, IMBAC will once again be welcoming guests to the lodge, with Jay and Len back to provide their legendary hospitality, great food, and a warm place to relax after a day on the slopes.

Okay, we know we’re a day late, but winter has officially arrived! ⛄️

At IMBAC, we’re dreaming of fresh snow, bluebird days, and making unforgettable memories with family and friends in the mountains. Whether your winter passion is skiing ⛷️, snowboarding 🏂, cross-country skiing 🎿, snowshoeing, or simply enjoying the alpine atmosphere, we hope this season brings plenty of adventures your way.

So, dear weather gods, we’re putting in our request now, please send us LOTS of snow! 🌨️❄️

What better way to wrap up National Volunteer Week than by volunteering your time at IMBAC’s Working Bee next weekend (Friday 29 – Sunday 31 May)? 🙌

Our Working Bees help get the lodge ready for the upcoming season and ensure everything is clean, safe, and running smoothly for all members to enjoy.

Jobs on the list include:
• General cleaning
• Basic maintenance (lights, switches, heaters, doors & hinges)
• Vanity and tap replacements

No special skills are needed, just a willingness to lend a hand! Many hands make light work, and every extra volunteer helps us get the jobs done faster.

A huge thank you to everyone who has already put their hand up to help. Your time and dedication are genuinely appreciated.

Tonight we celebrate the incredible people who have volunteered their time, skills and passion as Directors of IMBAC over the past 60 years.

Running a club like IMBAC is no small task, and behind every season, event and improvement is a group of volunteers working hard to keep our club thriving. We are so grateful to every person who has stepped forward to give their time and energy to our community over the decades and especially our outgoing 2025 Board. Thank you for everything you have contributed to IMBAC.
