THE SUNDECK HAS CHANGED HANDS!!!

After what at times seemed like a never ending delay, the sale of the hotel was finalised today (Friday 13th!).

All bookings and deposits have been transferred to the new owners.

Thanks again to all our guests, customers and staff - you have enriched our lives.

Best of luck to Peter Dean and his associates in looking after one of Australia's iconic hotels.

This video is from one of our farewell nights (14/9) with regular guests, musicians, tradesmen, staff and friends. It was great to see them again in our final days at the Sundeck!

The Sundeck Hotel is now closed for the season.
35 seasons for Cliff and 20 seasons for Sayaka - we will leave Sundeck but the new owner will re-open for next season!

At our end of season staff dinner everyone cast their votes on the seventeen snowman entries.

The champion snowman is….

Entry No. 17 “Ball Pit Snowman” by Zoey, Archer and Flynn - "Goodbye Cliff & Sayaka with a ball pit snowman and slide."
Congratulations!! They have won a weekend for 2 people next season!

2nd place: Entry No. 8 “Sundeck's Secret Society of Shredding Snowmen” by Natalia & Lila - "If you look closely you’ll see them coming out in the evening for a ski and board!"

3rd place: Entry No. 10 "Mr. Snowmman" by Shepheard Family.

4th place: Entry No. "Red Beanie Snowman" by Gilkes Family.

5th place: "Tim the Polar King" by Isaac - "I really hope that I win because I'm super sad about the place closing and Cliff and Sayaka leaving."

6th place: "Abby The Snowgirl" by Sheppard Family - " The Life of a snowgirl; Abby The Snowgirl isn't here to play... she is here to SLAY! Vote for her if you're ready for a frosty queen to steal the spot light!"
