Adrian putting the final coat on to our new back door canopy. Much better than the previous 1960’s aluminium one. The exterior reno is now complete and Isabella is looking fabulous.

I'm no gardening expert, but I'm pretty sure the garden at Isabella at Kyneton is having a crisis. I mean, it is 6 degrees outside and we've got roses and daffodils .. in July? 🤣

What a difference! While we were away travelling the painters finished removing the vinyl cladding from the 1970's at Isabella at Kyneton and exposed and repainted the original weatherboards from 1895. A bit of extra colour to the front facade and a red front door. Now we just need the new Victorian style canopy put over the back door and hopefully that will happen next week if the weather is good. The house looks fabulous and will look even better once the garden comes to life in Spring. Kyneton is just so damp underfoot.

I just realised I forgot to share photos of the finished Isabella. Guest’s have been admiring the result for the last month. The hidden treasure - the stunning original weatherboards from 1895, restored to perfection after removing the 1976 vinyl cladding.
