Extreme weather will continue tomorrow (Thursday 8 January) across our network.
It’s time to get power prepared.
Temperatures above 38 degrees are expected in Wodonga, Benalla, Seymour and Bairnsdale, and possibly South Morang, Lilydale and Traralgon. Possible thunderstorms and wind gusts exceeding 90km/hour are also forecast for Bairnsdale, Benalla, Wodonga and Traralgon.
Tomorrow Total Fire Bans are confirmed for Northern Country, North Central, North East and Mallee districts.
On TFB days, our bushfire mitigation technology operates on its highest setting to protect the community from bushfires. If a fault occurs in these areas tomorrow it can mean longer outages as we need to do additional checks and patrols to make sure it's safe to turn the power back on.
