Just 70km from Melbourne city and 40km from Tullamarine Airport, Lancefield Guesthouse is conveniently close to Hanging Rock, Mt Macedon, wineries, local farmers markets, and is only a one-minute walk from the township. About the Venue and Services

Owners Kate and Peter Chiller draw from over 40 years’ experience in the hotel and hospitality industries, and share a simple philosophy towards your stay, “It’s always been our dream to run a place like this and we want to provide every guest with a highly enjoyable and memorable experience, at an affordable price.”

With many years of cooking experience, it’s easy to see why Kate’s homemade meals receive superb feedback from guests. When making a booking, you can request to have a food package, which includes continental breakfast, Kate’s morning and afternoon teas, plus a three-course dinner.

Why not pair the locally sourced produce with a wine from one of Lancefield’s surrounding vineyards? Pete’s impressively stocked wine cellar features only local wines, so you can wine and dine with the best of the Macedon Ranges.

If you’d prefer to explore the local area, Lancefield town is a convenient one minute walk away and the local pub is just 100m from the guesthouse. For trips to vineyards or local attractions, there’s a minibus on request. Talk to Peter or Kate when you make a booking.

Lancefield Guesthouse’s old world character is complemented by 16 recently revamped rooms, all with private ensuites, comfortable beds, broadband internet, modern facilities and TV.

Each room has a different configuration, adaptable to almost any guest requirement, including singles, couples, families and groups. Rooms can also be rearranged on request and there are also disabled amenities available.

Lancefield Guesthouse’s shared space includes shared dining area, relaxing lounge room, a sun lounge that’s perfect for winter mornings, kitchen and BBQ area – plus there’s plenty of parking available.

Conference Centre

Lancefield Guesthouse’s unique and newly built conference facility can host up to 40 delegates, with 16 rooms available to accommodate guests.

With excellent natural light, heating and cooling, the Conference Centre provides a comfortable and relaxing environment to talk business. There is also all necessary electrical equipment available, including Wi-Fi, data protector, flipchart, whiteboard and lots of power points.

There are adjoining male and female bathrooms, as well as a conservatory area connected to the conference room, where you can enjoy morning and afternoon tea, as well as lunch. There’s also ample parking available at all times.
