Providing budget accommodation for seasonal workers looking for work in the North West of Tasmania
Central location to all Costa's Berry Exchange farms. Costa's Tasmanian farms start slowly around the second week in October and employ 2000 pickers over the season which ends in June. There are many big orchards in this area. Processing factories for Carrot, Broccilli, Potatoes and all vegetables work there factories 24 hours per day and pay $21/hour. Organic farms require weeders and pay $21/hour. 10 hour days,6 days week. Farmers employ direct from the hostel reception and job agents conduct inductions at the hostel. Hostel consists of 2,4,6,8 and bed rooms and include all bed linen, 24 hour unlimited Wi-Fi, all cooking facilities. Priced from $110-125/week.
