Twelve years ago we planted a Japoticaba seedling. For the first time it fruited and we got a small harvest of about 30 fruit. A fruit that grows out of the bark of branches. In years to come it will provide a sample seasonal taste sensation for our amazing guests, along with our mulberries, tropical plums, guavas, red centred limes and various other plants. This is a reminder for us that a sustainable, quality and varied tourism product is not born overnight.
