We were lucky enough to have some very friendly people and their well behaved dogs come and stay on the weekend. Was great to see everyone being very encouraging to each other.

What a busy couple weeks we have had, school holidays meant we were really busy with the accommodation, then we’ve been busy in the veggie garden keeping on top of the pea population and the alpacas got their yearly shearing and vaccines. Also this week we welcome 5 new superfine merino rams from the mainland. March is shaping up to be another busy month so if you were looking to book in you better act fast, we only have one weekend left available at the shearer’s quarters. So if you’re needing a place to hold your family or friend Easter event make sure to contact me.

We had the pleasure of cooking for the ever so knowledgeable astronomers on the weekend, we may of even learnt some things about the stars ⭐️ but the astronomers were starstruck and over the moon with the food we presented them. Garlic bread for starters, roast beef and chicken with veggies and to finish it off chocolate mouse, cheesecake and apple danishes. 😍
To top Friday nights menu we made honey mustard chicken and slow cooked lamb shanks with veggies but we couldn’t finish off without going all out with our desserts; pavlovas and cheesecake. Was so lovely to receive amazing comments about the food that my team and I presented. Thank you to Lisa, Maryanne and Shannon, oh and of course to Ben and Darcy for behaving for the two days.
