π‘ A Reasonable and Necessary REFRESHER!
π€ Not sure what the NDIS means by "reasonable and necessary"?
π° Our Can I STILL Buy It? peer workshop next month will unpack the latest NDIS rules and changes to help you better understand how you can use your funds.
β
A support is "reasonable and necessary" if it helps with your disability and is a fair and appropriate use of NDIS funding.
π«΄ This means the support:
- π Is related to your eligible disability impairment
- π― Helps you work towards your NDIS goals and supports your social and economic participation
- π° Is good value for money
- π Is likely to work
- π‘ Helps you become more independent and participate in everyday life
- π« Is not more appropriately funded by another government service
π Our Can I STILL Buy It? Resource Kit has more information about what makes a support eligible for funding and includes the slides, peer session recording, auto transcription and more practical tips, checklists and resources to help you confidently manage your funds.
