It’s been too long between sleepovers for us with back to back weekend bookings of all our favourite guests, returning to fill the house with festivities for third and fourth winter visits to Odonata and .

There are so many cosy and tasty places to visit in Leura. Gia Cafe & Bistro are celebrating their second year! We love them as much for their prawn Caesar and iced tea at lunch time as we do for their authentic Sri Lankan dishes (and desserts) by night.

So much about autumn brings joy and calm to my heart. Our wedding flower Anemone, was blooming along the driveway of Odonata six years ago when we first contemplated our retirement goal to settle in The Blue Mountains. It’s blooming again now as we head towards our sixth anniversary here and thirty three years of marriage! No regrets.
