Twenty years ago, a dream began in the beautiful Blue Mountains. What started as a passion for creating romantic, luxurious escapes has grown into what is now Mountain Whispers – The MW Collection.

We're planning a month of celebrations and we'd love to invite you to follow along!

Over the past two decades, we’ve welcomed guests celebrating anniversaries, proposals, birthdays, honeymoons, reunions, quiet weekends away and moments of healing and reconnection. We’ve seen snowfall on the gardens, mist roll through the valleys, crackling winter fires, summer afternoons on verandahs, and thousands of unforgettable memories created within our cottages.

There have been renovations, restorations, challenges, milestones and plenty of late nights along the way, but through it all, our love for the Blue Mountains and for creating meaningful guest experiences has never changed.

To everyone who has stayed with us, supported us, recommended us, celebrated with us or simply followed along over the years, thank you. You’ve been part of the Mountain Whispers story, and we are incredibly grateful.

Here’s to 20 years of romance, relaxation, history, luxury and mountain magic. And hopefully many more to come. 🤍

National Reconciliation Week is a time to reflect, learn and walk together towards a more united future. At Mountain Whispers, we are grateful to live and work on the traditional lands of the Gundungurra and Dharug peoples, whose deep connection to the Blue Mountains spans thousands of years.

As we welcome guests to this beautiful region, we also acknowledge the stories, culture and traditions that continue to shape the mountains today. This week reminds us of the importance of respect, understanding and meaningful connection with Country and community.
