A few pics shared to us from last weeks Campers who stayed 3 nights at Cobbview Campsite Licola, the below review was left on one of our platforms Hip Camp, we love the feedback good, bad or other, this helps us continually improve our service and facilities for you 🙌

“Our stay at Cobbview was nothing short of fantastic. Mick’s campsite was so well set up, with easy instructions and in honestly one of the most beautiful spots we’ve been so far. For those who love camping and enjoy those ‘creature comforts’ like a shower and flushing toilet! It makes setting up and enjoying the beautiful views on every side, so much easier. The site was so well kept with great fencing (the dogs loved it!), bins, a firepit and tables with shelter and solar lighting! It just made setting up and packing incredibly easy. Mick was super welcoming, so easy to communicate with and gave us lots of great tips for the area! Cobbview was one of our favourites and we will definitely be back 🤠k

Lake Glenmaggie Weir Wall after our recent rain event, good to see blue skies again.

Some recent canine footage close to Licola. Enjoy, the first one is at 12 midday, after the sheep were seen running I spotted this one on the fence line watching the sheep before it was chased off by a nearby Cow, the second a very old one which allowed me to get very close or more likely didn’t have the energy to run being in such poor condition, the last pic (RIP) a bit of an oldie, which raises the question do they attack humans, well call it wrong place at the wrong time for both of us, this was taken in Sardine creek off Bull plain spur North of Licola around 30 years ago and if it wasn’t for the old kodak camera in my back pack no one would have believe me this day, walking thru a Rocky outcrop hunting deer I heard a growl behind me, Looking back behind me there were two of them approaching fast and low to the ground snarling and teeth showing, split second decision to protect myself with them only 2-3 metres away and closing in. I believe I happened to walk past there Den this day, maybe protecting Pups ! I have had a few face to face encounters since where they have just ran off.

We know most devices automatically adjust but some clocks, like those in your kitchen appliances, wall clocks, or car, may need to be manually changed.

While you're at it, be sure to check your smoke alarm batteries. To do this, press and hold the test button until the smoke alarm beeps three times.

If your alarm doesn’t beep three times, it needs new batteries or replacement.

Very wet weekend and not much good for the outdoors, may as well share some pics and moments, here’s a find from a bye gone era 70’s & 80’s, an old Cats eye Marble I found when converting the old Licola school sand pit into your Fire pit ( Pictured with remains of the old concrete edging to this day ) Possibly belonging to one of students pictured, I have since lost this Marble after putting it in a safe place 🤦‍♂️, luckily enough to have grabbed a photo back then, any one else ever lost there marbles ? 🤣
