💜 WHY PEOPLE KEEP COMING BACK TO THE WORKIES — YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME!

It's the people, the hospitality and the little things that make you feel right at home. Just ask Howard! 🏡

Last week, our very own Widya caught up with Howard Frost, who was staying with his long-time friends ahead of the Bathurst races. 🏁

Some of the group have been coming back to Lithgow Workies for an incredible 10 years, while Howard has been making the trip for the past four!

So, what's kept them coming back year after year?

According to Howard, it's the people, the hospitality, the comfortable rooms and the warm welcome they receive every time.

And it all started with a great meal! 🍽️

Howard shared that the group originally stayed elsewhere in the area, until one of their friends stopped in at the Workies for dinner. The food was so good that they decided to stay with us instead — and they've been happily returning ever since!

For Howard, having everything under one roof makes the experience even better. From accommodation and dining to the friendly staff who go the extra mile to make their stay comfortable, it's that genuine hospitality that keeps the group coming back.

And when Widya asked if there was anything else he'd like to add, Howard smiled and said:

“We wish we had one of these clubs in New Zealand!” 🇳🇿💜

Howard, we reckon that's about the best compliment we could receive!

A huge thank you to Howard and his long-time friends for their kind words and continued support. It's an absolute pleasure to welcome you back year after year.

We hope you enjoyed your stay and a fantastic weekend at the races! 🏁🏎️
