Recently we installed some barrier product and drum screen in one of the theatres at the Brisbane Powerhouse. The alcove where the band was positioned was too reverberant. Also, there was too much noise from the band coming through the actor's headsets.

We started by hanging Echo Barrier on the walls and ceiling of the alcove and finished with an acrylic screen across the front. This installation made the theatre more comfortable for the musicians, actors and technicians involved. We're looking forward to becoming more involved with any of these types of issues that you may encounter.

Our acrylic screens were successfully used last night at the Brisbane Powerhouse for their show with the Australian String Quartet. The screens, in conjunction with some simple but elegant lighting, provided an intimate feel for the night.

They also allowed the instruments to shine, enabling a more resonant and full-bodied soundscape. A single microphone pair allowed the naturally projected sound to blend with just a minimal amount of amplification, providing an overall pleasing listening experience.

Thanks to the Brisbane Powerhouse. Smiles all round.

Hi Everyone, welcome to the new Noise Reduction Solutions (NRS) page. NRS mainly uses the Echo Barrier product to assist in reducing noise levels on work sites, commercial projects and even at live events.
