🎄🏠 A LITTLE CHRISTMAS MAGIC, STRAIGHT FROM OUR PASTRY QUEEN’S HANDS… ✨

Ever wondered why gingerbread houses are such a big part of Christmas? Because there’s actually a beautiful little tradition behind them. ❤️

It all dates back to Germany, where gingerbread has been baked for centuries. But it was the famous fairy tale Hansel & Gretel, published by the Brothers Grimm in 1812, that helped bring the idea of magical little houses covered in sweets to life.

Over time, these edible cottages became part of Christmas traditions, decorated with icing, lollies and snowy rooftops. Families would gather to create them, gift them and display them as little pieces of Christmas magic. ✨

And now, a couple of hundred years later, our very own Pastry Queen Roz has decided to bring a little of that magic to Vacy! 🥹

And would you LOOK at what she’s created?! 😍

Every little gingerbread house is lovingly baked, assembled and decorated BY HAND. From the tiny piped details and lolly-covered walls to the snowy rooftops, little presents and beautiful Christmas wrapping.

No two will be quite the same, and every single one takes hours of patience, creativity and a whole lot of love.

These aren’t just gingerbread houses. They’re edible Christmas centrepieces, beautiful gifts and little memories waiting to be made. ❤️
