WHERE ARE WE NOW.....🤔

The work has begun. Reality has kicked in! 😮‍💨🔨

Alan knows all about hard work. He built our home and our B&B, and the amazed looks we get from everyone who visits us are a constant reminder of just how talented and creative he truly is.

So, as this new project starts to take shape, we’re really looking forward to seeing those same looks again — and hearing those “Oohs” and “Wows!” 😍

But even we need a break! 🥂

It was lovely to just sit back, appreciate the day, enjoy a preferred beverage and a few nibbles, and take a moment to reflect on what we’ve started.

The work has begun… and there’s plenty more to come.

WHAT DOES AN ORANGE LADYBUG SYMBOLISE 🐞 STAYING POSITIVE IN THE PRESENT!

An orange ladybug 🐞 appearing in your life, it is often given a lovely symbolic meaning.

🧡 Orange is associated with warmth, enthusiasm, creativity, courage and positive energy.

🐞 Ladybugs traditionally symbolise:

Good luck and good fortune

Protection

Happiness and joy

New beginnings

Trusting that things are unfolding in the right direction

An orange ladybug can be interpreted as a little reminder to stay positive, embrace change and have confidence in the path you are taking. It can represent warmth and happiness coming into your life, particularly around personal growth or a new chapter.

There is also a beautiful interpretation that when a ladybug unexpectedly appears, it is a reminder to stop, notice the little things and appreciate the blessings already around you. 🌿🧡

Oh, I love that! 🧡🐞 And the fact that I found it while doing something as ordinary as hanging out the laundry, sitting on my tablecloth, makes the symbolism even more beautiful.

It's a little reminder of good fortune in the everyday things. It reminds me that everyday is a fortunate day in my LIFE

🧡 Orange — warmth, joy, enthusiasm and positive energy.
🐞 Ladybug — luck, protection and blessings.
🏡 Tablecloth — home, nourishment, family and gathering together.

Put together, the message could be:

“There is goodness and happiness right here at home. Notice the little blessings in your everyday life.” ✨

And perhaps, after everything we've built and created around our home and our life, it's a lovely little nudge to appreciate where you are right now rather than always looking toward what's next.

Sometimes the smallest visitors arrive at just the right moment. 🧡🐞🌿

UPDATE ON OUR NEW PROJECT 🤔✨

Our new project is slowly coming together and we have a feeling it’s going to become one of the best things we’ve done! ❤️

We’ve been shopping at our favourite store, hunting down the best deals and finding just what we need to bring our idea to life.

Now the thought is becoming a reality… and it’s starting to get VERY exciting! 😍

LUXURY WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK! ✨🥂🌿

We are incredibly proud to say that this September, we will be celebrating 10 years in business! 🥳🎉

What an amazing journey it has been. When we first opened our B&B, we never imagined the challenges that lay ahead. Like many small businesses, we faced uncertainty during the COVID period and wondered what the future would hold for our little business. 🤔

But instead of standing still, we used that time to move forward. We completed our accreditations and proudly achieved our 4.5-star rating with the Tourism Council WA. ⭐⭐⭐⭐½

Following that, we also achieved our Sustainability Accreditation — something we are extremely passionate about.

Today, we are proud to be sustainable in more ways than one, from the water we collect and the electricity we generate, to the food we grow and the facilities we provide for EV motor vehicles. 🌿💧☀️🥚⚡🚗

Ten years is a wonderful milestone, and while we have been in business for more than 40 years, these past 10 years have given us some of the most rewarding and memorable times of our business lives. ❤️

Most of all, we have loved meeting so many wonderful people and sharing our little piece of paradise with our guests.

🌕 STURGEON MOON GOING DOWN 🌚✨

To experience the Sturgeon Moon going down in the early morning was such a delightful experience. 🌕🌿

Within minutes, the sun would be rising, bringing another one of our amazing sunrises. 🌅

Every day is different, and you just never know what you will see when you wake up. Living in the bush gives us a front-row seat to nature’s ever-changing beauty.

And for that, I am truly grateful. 🙏❤️

I thank my GOD for the two most beautiful gifts He has given me — MY EYES. 👀✨

To see the beauty that surrounds us is a blessing I never take for granted. 🌿🌅🌕
