IMPORTANT UPDATE | After 20 years of hosting guests, the Odd Frogs are saying goodbye ☹️
Odd Frog Lodges will officially close its doors at the end of June, closing the chapter on one of the Mudgee region’s most beloved farm stays.
As we mark the end of this incredible accommodation offering, here’s a little note from the original Odd Frogs - Fi & John…
“It’s with mixed emotions that we announce that after 20 years, it’s time for us to hang up our hats & say goodbye.
It’s been a truly remarkable journey, sharing our beautiful property with thousands of guests, who have fallen in love with the land, the surrounds & the quiet – just as we have.
Every corner of Odd Frog Lodges holds memories; we raised our sons here, watching them explore & learn the importance & beauty of farm life.
In 2009, we were married below the caves, hosting a wonderful wedding for our families & friends.
We have held many long lunches, games on the lawn & late nights by the bonfire, as the sheep & cattle grazed around us.
When we made the decision to open the Cottage & the Bunkhouse as self-contained lodges, it was because so many of our friends had told us this property just needed to be shared – it was so idyllic, offering a respite from the city hustle & bustle – and we wanted to give that experience to others.
Over the past two decades, we have hosted countless lovely guests; many who keep coming back. Every stay has been filled with laughter, with joy & with fond memories.
In 2020, we added the Lodge to our offering, opening opportunities for our guests to host their own family events or birthday parties. It’s been wonderful to see people celebrate their special moments in this place.
As the business comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank each & every person who has visited Odd Frog Lodges – we could not have done it without you & we’re indebted to you for your support.
We are ending this chapter with memories we will hold onto forever – thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
