Here's a feel good story to start the week off on a positive note! 💜

Working in a motel, we meet lots of people all the time & with the accommodation shortage in Mackay, we've had some long-term guests staying with us. One lovely young couple with a beautiful baby in particular, like many, have had a rough patch trying to make ends meet.

However, last weekend a couple came to stay to attend a funeral today and they got to talking to this couple. They remembered their younger days in Mackay 43 years ago when they got pregnant young & were homeless... They remembered what it felt like & were in a position to help. 🤔

After considering how to help in a way that counts, they came into the office & paid one week's rent for the couple, took them shopping for $200 worth of groceries & gave them $60 for fuel. 🫶

This act of kind generosity touched all our hearts & made us remember that their are some really good people out there that "pay it forward" & help where they can 🤗🥰

Needless to say, these actions made our young guest's day & the contributors were warmly thanked for their appreciated act of good will. Hopefully this story will give some food for thought to those who are in a position to help a stranger & make their lives happier by easing their worries too🤩😍
