Settle in for a proper Cup Day at the Argyle.

From 12pm, join us in The Stables for a three-course shared feast, a glass of sparkling on arrival and an afternoon of Melbourne Cup fun.

$69 per person includes:

ON THE MENU

To Start
Warm sourdough, whipped butter
Salt & pepper squid, lemon, aioli
Tomato & whipped feta bruschetta

Mains
Slow roasted beef sirloin, red wine jus
Herb roasted chicken, lemon, garlic, pan jus

For the Table
Crispy roasted potatoes, rosemary, sea salt
Seasonal greens, sliced almond, lemon butter
Rocket, pear, parmesan salad, balsamic dressing

A Sweet Finish
Mini pavlovas, berries, passionfruit, cream
Chocolate brownie, salted caramel, vanilla cream

And once the race is done, there’s no need to rush off. Take over the courtyard or veranda, settle in for the afternoon and, if the weather calls for it, we’ll get the fireplace going.

You’ll see it the moment you walk through our doors.

Our dry age fridge. Premium Northern Rivers Angus. Beautiful cuts of beef ageing behind the glass, ready for the grill.

We’ve taken our dry aged program to the next level, sourcing some of the best local beef we can get our hands on and giving it the time it deserves.

And this is just your first taste of what’s coming.

🔥 1kg Dry Aged Rib Eye on the Bone $100

Go the Rump for yourself, or put the 1kg Rib Eye in the middle of the table and share it. Add your choice of sides and sauce, then find a bottle from our new wine selection to match.

WE’RE HIRING | DUTY MANAGER 🍻

Due to growth, we’re looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join the team at the Argyle Hotel Maclean.

We’re looking for a confident, hands on hospitality professional who knows how to run a busy pub, lead a team and deliver genuinely great customer service.

You’ll need:
• Previous Duty Manager or hospitality management experience
• Strong bar knowledge across beer, wine, spirits and cocktails
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong RSA knowledge
• Confidence leading and motivating a team
• A reliable, organised and hands on approach

You’ll be involved across the day to day running of the hotel, leading our bar and floor teams and making sure the venue is operating at its best.

Above all, customer service is number one. We want someone who takes pride in looking after our locals, regulars and travellers and creating a great experience every time they visit.

FATHER’S DAY AT THE ARGYLE 🥩🍤🍺

Here’s your first proper look at a couple of the dishes we’re serving this Father’s Day and yes, Dad is absolutely sorted.

🔥 FEED THE MAN MEAT $49
250g lamb cutlets, 200g dry rub rump, pork and fennel sausage, crispy bacon, roast spuds, sour cream and chives.

🍤 THAI SPICED YAMBA PRAWNS $34
Coconut basmati rice and fresh Asian slaw.
