Happy Father's Day to all those Dad's out there - we hope you enjoy your day.

Majors Creek Pub is open today at 12pm. Lunch is 12pm to 2pm and dinner is from 5.30pm. We still have our Father's Day Specials board available as well as the regular menu - plenty to choose from for Dad and the rest of the family!!!!

The Pub number for reservations or take away is 4846 1145!!!!

Punters Club had one win yesterday and I will need to check the tickets at the TAB but I think we might be moving on to the next punter next week - Rowan.

Hugh's back this afternoon with his Sunday pool comp - names in from 3pm and the first break is at 3.30pm. $10 gets you in and winner takes all🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱

Majors Creek Pub is open today at 12pm. Lunch is from 12pm to 2pm and dinner from 5.30pm. The Pub number for reservations is 4846 1145!!!!

It's our Father's Day weekend with some delicious specials on the menu just for Dad. Or he might prefer to go the regular menu and have Ribs or a Parmi - either way Dad is well catered for this weekend. The weather is supposed to turn wet and windy at some point today so making a booking for the dining room might be the safe move - reservations can be made on 4846 1145!!!

Punters Club is on today with Lou our lucky punter - good luck Lou - we hope you back some winners🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎🐎

On Sunday Hugh will be running his Sunday Pool Comp🎱🎱🎱🎱🎱 - $10 gets you in with winner takes all - at this stage Mick is the one to beat so come and give it a go and see if you can knock him off the perch!!!

The Braidwood and District Education Foundation is the charity the Majors Creek Hotel Woodchop supports.

For the month of September up until the 2 October 2026 our money raised on our Friday meat tray raffles will be donated to the Foundation.

Also, on the day of the Woodchop we will hold a raffle with all money raised going to the Braidwood and District Education Foundation. The crew from the Foundation will be selling tickets on the day and you can also discuss with them the work of the Foundation.

I know a lot of our District's young people have benefited in their studies due to support from the Foundation - it is fundraising that is going directly back to the youth of our towns.

If you would like to support with a raffle prize, please get in touch - I'm happy to pick up from you and it is another way you can support the Braidwood and District Education Foundation.

If you want one you will need to turn up on the day to grab your free souvenir sticker of the Majors Creek Hotel Woodchop - thanks Peter these are fantastic.

If you need any printing completed from banners to flyers to stickers, I can highly recommend 2620 QBN Print Services and I'm not just saying it. Come and check out the stuff Peter has done for the woodchop!!!!

Majors Creek Pub is open today at 12pm. The kitchen is open tonight at 5.30pm. We have worked hard this week to develop a Specials menu just for Dad!!!!

This week's Specials are:

🍺 Salt and Pepper Squid - entree
🍺 Beef Cheek Pot Pie and veg
🍺 Crumbed Lamb Cutlets
🍺 Rum n Raisin Bombe Alaska
🍺 Black Cherry Mousse Cake with Chocolate Ganache and ice cream

The Majors Creek Hotel Wood Chop is only a month away and we are extremely grateful for all our sponsors. It is fantastic that across our District we get such a varying range of businesses supporting our wood chop.
