Sometimes it's what you don't see that counts.
I love fencing, it's one of those jobs where you leave at the end of the day knowing, and feeling like you have accomplished something significant. And when the job is finished, there is a massive sense of pride leaving behind a fence that looks great, is stock proof, and knowing it is going to last well into the future.
But sometimes it's the small things, and the unseen things that defines a great fence from an ordinary fence. Things like, 2 coats of paint on my welds, belling out post holes so the concrete won't lift, and flaring or cleating the post ends so they won't pull out of the concrete. Also the wire knots, proper figure 8 knots to join wire, and real termination knots on strainers, that won't unravel if hit by a beast at speed, or loose ringer.
