The Artist Cascades is a refreshing place to have a swim after the long trek. You can also take a couple of side tracks along the way to the Strangler Cairn and the gold mine.
There are several walking tracks found with the Conondale National Park where you can explore the forests, creeks and waterfalls. Walks include:

🍃Booloumba Falls Walk: 3km (return), allow 2hrs for his walk and discover waterfalls and rock pools.

🍃Strangler Cairn: 6.5km (return), allow 2 1/2 hrs where you will see an impressive 3.7-metre high Strangler Cairn sculpture by artist Andy

Nearby Imbil State Forest’s Charlie Moreland camping area, on Sunday Creek Road, is accessible by conventional two-wheel-drive vehicles.
