Quinninup Falls is flowing thanks to the winter rains! 🌧️

Thinking of checking it out? It’s a beautiful and culturally significant spot, so here’s how you can help look after it:

✅ Stick to the marked trails (binoculars = bonus)
✅ Don’t move or take any rocks, plants, or anything else - however big or small
✅ Take your rubbish with you (hiking snacks are elite, but the wrapping doesn't belong in nature!)

If you decide to give it a miss, there are plenty of more wild winter scenes to soak up around the region, like:

🌊 Canal Rocks, Yallingup
🌊 Sugarloaf Rock, Cape Naturaliste
🌊 Surfers Point, Prevelly
🌊 Redgate Beach, Redgate
🌊 Cape Leeuwin, Augusta

Wherever you go, please care for Country and leave only footprints behind. 👣

There's something so refreshing about Augusta ~ is it the nostalgic charm of the weatherboards lining the river, or the Southern Ocean's salty chill?

📸 found perfection on a sunny day, in the shimmering water and crunchy fish & chips.

There's plenty to see and do, from climbing mainland Australia's tallest lighthouse to hiring a houseboat, taking a river tour or casting a line... or you could simply spread out a picnic blanket, have a swim and soak up the quiet and calm! 💛☀️

The most memorable experiences in life are those that shift perspectives. It’s why the first place Sean Blocksidge takes his wine touring guests is canoeing on Wooditchup Bilya — the Margaret River.

“Margaret River wine is the confluence of a whole range of different things that are going on: It’s geology, it’s ecology, it’s climate,” muses Sean, speaking as a 20-year Margaret River local who’s spent almost as much time canoeing the river and trekking the capes as he has drinking the wine.

It’s through this lens that Sean showcases the region’s wine, on a very small and personalised gourmet/eco 4WD experience. You’ll be having so much fun that it’s not until the end that you’ll notice you’re on your way to becoming a wine expert.

There's something so dreamy about the fading afternoon light ✨
Two surfers head out to catch the last waves at Redgate Beach, on Wadandi Boodja. There are plenty of excellent breaks all along the Margaret River coastline right up to Yallingup, Three Bears and Bunker Bay in the northern part of the region.

Rather watch the action? Check out the Yallingup Malibu Classic next month, or the World Surf League Margaret River Pro in April and May 2023.

How long has it been since you’ve strapped on the hiking boots and ventured out along some of the rawest and most beautiful West Australian coastline? 🌊

It’s true that nature makes us feel grounded and some of the best outdoor therapy you’ll find comes in the form of the Cape to Cape Track which winds its way from Cape Naturaliste in the north to Cape Leeuwin in the south.

This section found near Yallingup and captured by 📷 (via IG) provides dramatic views of the iconic Injidup and Smiths beaches.

To make a day of it park at Smiths Point where the track is easily accessed and follow the signage south through the native bushland and glorious scenery, your soul will thank you! 🙌
