An older lady once taught me her cream recipe, and how to make soaps.
I’m still deeply grateful she shared this with me, because from that small gift grew Authentic Margaret River.

These are the products I now love making for Explorers Rest and Sea La Vie.
And every time I take my own little escape, I feel a sense of nurturing.

Authentic Margaret River was created for the senses —
made to look beautiful in well-designed spaces,
to smell delicious,
and to feel good on your skin.

I love sharing this with our guests when they come and stay.
Offering them something they won’t find anywhere else, homemade, as part of their intimate experience.

To make a stay feel truly unique and special.

Haven’t posted anything on here for so long.
The last few months I’ve been quietly focused on giving Sea La Vie a little makeover, to bring some fresh air into its sales.

For the first time, I stayed here for myself while my daughter had her birthday party. I was amazed how much I actually felt like being on a sailing boat. The space felt peaceful and calm — or maybe that was me.

It feels quite magical to arrive at a place of appreciation, having transformed a space.

Explore and Rest
Have found a new way of exploring for myself. It all started with a coffee at the White Elephant meeting some of the early morning swimmers...
Two months later I am up nice and early every morning, hop into the car, drive to the beach and swim regardless of the weather. Coffee afterwards with wonderful people. Fully embracing every day and my cup is overflowing by 7:30 am. The rest of the day flows so much better.
Sometimes exploring means finding out what floats your boat 🚣‍♀️
Again beyond grateful for this magic place we call home 🌊
