Since many of our animals roam freely around our property, your arrival and departure experience can often look a little bit like this, and we know that many struggle to know what to do. Yes, we do witness some funny moments from our kitchen window!! So here’s a few little tips! Unless you’re happy sitting, watching, observing and taking photos of them from your car, by not moving at all some metres away, this will not make the animals move. They’re watching you as much as you’re watching them, and they have no intention on going anywhere. If you can’t drive around them (safely and not too off-piste), drive very very slowly and gently, quickly, beep the horn if you need to, and they will move on. If that doesn’t work, send a brave family member out (as they’re eat you up in one swift gulp…joking of course), and get them to gently tap and move them on whilst you make a funny reel in the car of them doing so. What’s super important is that everyone drives super slowly up and down our driveway. You never know when a kangaroo in particular, or even a child, may pop out. Our animals are generally very friendly and love to give you a warm welcome or goodbye so take them being in the way as part of the experience!
