Our Story

Set amongst established trees and gardens, The Margaret River Motel (formally the Grange on Farrelly Margaret River Motel) offers clean, convenient accommodation in the heart of Margaret River. Centrally located it's the perfect base to explore the region. Just a 4 minute stroll to the main street, cafes, restaurants, galleries and gift shops. A 10 minute drive to stunning beaches, surf breaks and sunsets. And either end of the Cape to Cape stretch is just a 45 minute drive North or South, where in between you'll find an abundance of world class wineries, breweries, limestone cave networks and attractions to keep the whole family entertained. Our motel has rooms with spa baths, four poster beds, canopy beds - all with the natural warmth of timber, all available free to air channels, reverse cycle air-con, WiFi (FREE), half size tennis court, BBQ and outdoor pool. Reception is housed in a local-heritage listed timber building once the private residence of a timber magnate, in the days when Margaret River timber was keenly sought across the globe and exported from nearby jetty facilities, the remnants of which still stand today at Hamelin Bay. We look forward to welcoming you to the Margaret River Motel.
