And that’s a wrap!!!!!
Wow what a crazy few months it has been - A week before Christmas we were not sure we could be open but we made it and what a time we have had …
No mozzies -awesome water in the river-plenty of water skiing and generally a good time had by all…
A huge thank you to our annual site holders in their generous appreciation of our hard work to keep the floodwaters out of the park.
To the casual campers who came and supported us - thank you..
Looking forward to seeing you all again-
Now to have just a little rest …
Thanks again……

The river is open and ready for everyone to come and float.Looking forward to seeing you all soon….

MORE GOOD NEWS--we have been told by the Murray River council that the Picnic Point road is now open. The repairs have been finished and they have deemed it to be safe.
If any annual site holders want to come feel free to do so.
We just ask that you leave the sandbags where they are and that you be mindful of the kangaroos. They have had the park to themselves since the start of October and they do not like to share.
If you are coming to the park could you please just let us know. Some sites are still very wet and have not been mowed as yet.
We look forward to seeing you all soon.

Just another update-we are still here fighting the Murray and her water she keeps sending down. We have just had another rise which has caused the sandbags to leak again and causeway up at the 800 ml.
More 24/7 pumping and sandbag checking..
Lots of sunshine coming and the Yarrawonga weir dropping-let’s hope this is the start of getting back to normal-whatever that might be …
will keep you updated ….
PS sick of gum boot and jerry cans lol

Hi there -just want to mention that the park is still under evacuation orders and the road is closed by the Murray River Council.
We would love to have you come to the park but we are still flooding with the river not below the banks.
This may take some time but as soon as you are able to safely come in we will let you know.

Another update — so we have had a small break of fighting floods as the river dropped 120ml over the past week however due to all the rain up in the hills both Dartmouth and Hume are spilling which ultimately ends up coming past Murraybank. They have increased the flow out of Yarrawonga up-to 126000 megs which on top of a high river which again cause more flooding.
As we are unsure of what amount of water is coming down we have filled more sand bags and reinforced our already wet and compromised sandbags and getting the pumps ready to go again.Let’s hope it is not as bad as before.Causeway is still at about 800 ml…
