LOT 101 is honoured to host the 2026 Blue Mountains Writers’ Festival again gathering thoughtful voices and curious readers across the valley.

While our Werriberri cottages are now completely booked for the weekend, LOT 101 is opening its gates for an immersive valley day escape.

It takes an entire valley to create our bushland retreat.

To be named Winner of Outstanding Accommodation at the Local Business Awards in 2023 and 2025 (and a Finalist in 2024), alongside back-to-back finalist nods at the Australian Small Business Champion Awards (2024 & 2025), is a humbling milestone for our six heritage cottages.

But real hospitality doesn't live in awards. It lives in the early mornings: farmers pulling fresh produce for the kitchens, our team setting fires and packing breakfast baskets with home made jam and sourdough, and the unforced stillness that greets you when you turn off the car engine beneath the escarpment.

Thank you to our LOT 101 team our local community, and every guest who has made Werriberri their sanctuary away from the city.

🎶 Founded and directed by the Bowerbird Collective, and supported by Lot 101, this event brings together art, science and conservation, focused around eight intimate, world-class performances.
