POSITION SUMMARY:
Ensures the smooth and efficient operations in the department through prompt, effective and proper reservations service to achieve maximum room revenue to meet or exceed the revenue target.
Supervising General Job Performance of front office staff, implementing of policies and procedures under guidance of Director, training, responsible and perform any other duties might requested by the Director.
RESERVATION MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for training staff.
Responsible for implementation of policies and procedures.
Liaise with Sales Department in regards to occupancy, Rates Reservation's Analysis.
Identify Top Producing Accounts ensure proper recognition by Reservation staff.
Responsible for various Production reports and supply to each department concerned.
Monitoring Telephone Manner and general performance of reservations staff daily.
Supervising of Group Reservations.
Maintain cordial relations with commercial clients.
Revenue Management
Prepare weekly performance report
In general, perform any other duties might requested by Front Office Manager or Room Division Manager.
Reviews and completes credit limit report.
Enforces all cash-handling, check-cashing, and credit policies.
Conducts regularly scheduled meetings of front office personnel.
Experience and Education:
Minimum 2 years’ experience as Reservation supervisor or Asst. Manager on a reputed hotel. Graduation from an accredited college or university in an appropriate curriculum and considerable experience related to this class of work including some supervisory experience, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Selection Criteria
Essential:
Proven work experience as a Reservation supervisor or Asst. Manager
Hands on experience with any PMS software
Thorough knowledge of customer service, office management and basic bookkeeping procedures
Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word
Excellent communication and people skills
Good organizational and multitasking abilities
Problem-solving skills
High School diploma: additional certification is a plus
Desirable
Knowledge of financial and administrative systems, particularly in a hotel environment.
Experience in Marketing and Sales.
Experience in supporting/support to Property Management.
Experience with running Airbnb
