📺 How high should your TV actually be?

One of the most common questions we get asked is what height a TV should be mounted.

There’s no single height that works for every room. The right position depends on your seating height, viewing distance, TV size and the furniture underneath it.

As a general rule, you want the TV positioned so you’re viewing it comfortably from your normal seating position — without constantly looking too far up or down.

On this installation, we also wall mounted the soundbar and kept the cabling concealed, leaving a clean finish with no unnecessary wires on show.

Sometimes getting the TV height right by just a few centimetres can make a big difference to both how the room looks and how comfortable it is to watch.

WHERE DID ALL THE CABLES GO? 👀📺

A clean Samsung Frame TV installation is about much more than simply hanging the TV on the wall.

For this installation, there was no entertainment unit underneath the TV to hide the equipment, cables or outlets — so we concealed everything inside the wall behind the TV.

We installed a recessed enclosure for the Samsung One Connect box and relocated the power, aerial and data points inside, keeping all of the equipment and cabling completely out of sight.

The result?

📺 98” TV Installation — The Work Behind the Finish

98 inches of precision. 📺

Installing a 98” TV is a big job at the best of times — but mounting a screen of this size around 2 metres up the wall adds another level of planning and care.

This installation was completed on a Besser block wall finished with a smooth concrete render, requiring careful preparation, accurate measurements and the correct fixing method.

Because of the size, weight and installation height of the screen, this job required three of our team to safely handle and position the TV.

From preparing the wall and securing the mounting system through to carefully lifting, positioning and finishing the installation, safe handling is just as important as getting the final result right.

The goal? A perfectly positioned screen, a clean finish and a professional installation from start to finish.
