These Kookaburras are regulars at BIG4 Crystal Brook, amusing guests and staff with their cheeky antics: knocking on the office window with their beaks, stealing sausages off the BBQ and peering down from above to suss out whether your snacks are worth stealing!

⭐ Fun Fact: Did you know that Kookaburras rarely drink water, instead they get nearly all of the moisture they need directly from their food. It's no wonder they thrive in Australia's climate - even through drought!

Despite the wet weather, our road work crew have been busy this month - here's some progress photos!

At this stage we are on track for the completion of our Stage 1 road work project by mid September - just in time for the school holidays! 🎉

We've had a lot of rain recently, which has meant a LOT of mud!
It has slowed the road work crew down a little bit - but like the troupers they are, they've been pushing through it.

💖 We'd like to give a big shout out not only to the crew, but also to our amazing guests! Sections of the park have remained open and have been very busy throughout the works (and the mud)! Our guests have shown plenty of patience, support and enthusiasm while we upgrade the roads and we can't wait for you to return and see the completed stage 1 product! 💖

The roadwork crew have been working hard at BIG4 Crystal Brook Tourist Park over the last few weeks laying the road base!

They are all on track to have stage 1 of our road resurfacing finished before the spring school holidays - we can't wait! 😊🎉

A LOT has been happening here at BIG4 Crystal Brook Tourist Park, our new roads are really starting to take shape!

We were VERY excited to watch our hard working crew pouring the new gutters in the stage 1 section, they are looking great!
