Well all good things must come to an end 🥹💓
Patrons from near and far… honestly, we don’t even know where to start. For the millionth time, you’ve all rallied behind us and helped us bring home the People’s Choice Award. Yep… AGAIN. 🏆
And our Lynda went and snagged 2nd place in Apprentice Chef of the Year — no big deal, just casually smashing it. What a bloody achievement.
When we walked through the doors of this venue nearly five years ago, we were met with a whole lot of “you CAN’T do this” and “you’ll NEVER pull that off.”
Well… plot twist.
We didn’t just hit our goals — we demolished them. And then added a few extras for fun:
✅ Craft beer on tap
✅ Fine dining nights
✅ Live music
✅ High-end steaks (with the high-end price tags to match 😉)
✅ More than just “pub grub,” thank you very much
… and that’s just scratching the surface.
And while we’re on achievements, here’s a huge, heartfelt shout-out to our families and friends — the ones who kept us standing on the days we were ready to faceplant. Your support, patience and “you’ve got this” pep talks have meant everything.
And to every single one of our past and present staff — absolute superstars. You showed up, you hustled, you created magic. We wouldn’t be accepting a single award without you.
But now, after one hell of a ride, we’ve made the tough call to put the tongs and glasses down. The Meredith Hotel will be in new hands later this month.
To all of you — for the love, the support, the laughs… and yes, even the hate (because let’s be honest, that kept things interesting) — thank you. Without all of it, we wouldn’t have built what we have.
Change is hard. Change is inevitable. Change is the only constant. And some people… well, they might need to loosen their grip a little and embrace it — because where there’s change, there’s growth.
We wish the little town of Meredith nothing but the best, and thank you for hosting us on this wild, unforgettable journey.
