Seriously. People of Merimbula. 33 of our beloved Mexican neighbours get Covid 19 in one day and it is therefore necessary to strip Woolies of all their toilet paper. Well done hoarders, you have learnt nothing. You are inconsiderate fools. And have a good night.

Potaroo Palace needs help. This is a great day out for families visiting the area (and locals, if you haven't been there). They also provide great support for injured and orphaned animals. Please support.

Unfortunately Potoroo Palace has been forced to close earlier than expected.

Due to no income stream, we are calling for help from the general public so we can ride out this extraordinary time.

Our main concern at the moment is the welfare of our animals. We need donations, particularly of fruit and vegetables (apples especially), also money donations which can be tax deductible.

Can anyone explain why the boat ramp car park was full of tents and campers on Saturday & Sunday and caravan parks (like the one behind Nautilus) we're early empty? This one had 3 vans in the lower level. Boat ramp = one male, one female toilet. Caravan Park = showers, kitchen, toilets.. Thought a caravan park on Fishpen would make a great evacuation centre. Bad organisation, lack of communication, lacking community spirit? I have no idea, but we can do it better, surely.
